| Due to the constant increase in speed of the Bio-Logic Stopped-Flow
instruments, the data acquisition rate of Bio-Kine32 in transient
recording mode has been increased to 100 kHz (10 µs per data point).
This complement the microcuvette accessory that bring the dead time of the SFM-300/400 series of stopped-flow to 0.25 ms. An example of this new mode of fast data acquisition is shown below were the fluorescence change induced by mixing NATA with NBS is recorded at 100 kHz rate using the microcuvette assembly. (flow rate 16 mL/s, dead time 0.25 ms) Note the rate constant of the reaction : 3200 s-1, or a reaction half time of 210 µs.
